Periodontologist Aiste Volkyte
Dr. Aiste Volkyte is a specialist registrar in periodontics at the King’s College London, Guy’s Hospital Dental Institute. Aiste’s area of expertise is treatment of gum diseases – such as periodontitis or receding gums.
She had completed her five-year Master of Dentistry programme in 2014 and received qualifications from the Lithuanian University of
Health Sciences. In 2020 she finished her two-year programme and received a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Periodontology from the BPP University in Birmingham. The same year she started her further periodontal training at the King’s College London. In addition to formal education, she constantly attends a number of courses to expand her knowledge. She is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and Implantology, participating in their annual conferences.
Aiste has a cheerful, chatty and welcoming personality, thus helping even the most nervous patients to relax. Outside dentistry, Aiste enjoys painting, drawing, reading books and growing roses.
