Consultations

A dental consultation is a session with your dentist where any questions and concerns can be discussed. Without a consultation, any treatment is not further proceeded, this is because it serves as the basis through which the dentist sums up the issues regarding your teeth, what treatment needs to be done and the cost of it. This is written down in a treatment plan, so it is completely indispensable for the dentist and the patient.
It allows you to ask whatever questions you may have, allowing you to have the ability to refuse or accept treatments, and get all the information you need before proceeding.

Why dental X-rays are performed during assessments?

Dental X-rays (radiographs) are images of your teeth that your dentist uses to evaluate your oral health. These X-rays are used with low levels of radiation to capture images of the interior of your teeth and gums.

These X-rays can help your dentist to identify problems like cavities, tooth decay, and impacted teeth. Dental X-rays may seem complex, but they’re actually very common tools that are just as important as your teeth cleanings.
